reliability and performance. The system should be optimized to handle peak transaction
volumes without lag, even during rush hours when multiple checkout counters are active. Any
request from user, the screen display almost instantly, and payment processing completes in
seconds.
The system can also handle large datasets, use memory and CPU efficiency, and concurrent
users across different terminals without performance degradation, allowing multiple cashiers,
stock clerks, and managers to work simultaneously.
The MSS must be designed to operate continuously during business hours with minimal
downtime, ensuring that sales and operations are never interrupted. It must remain stable even
during peak load periods such as weekends or holiday promotions-when transaction volumes
and user activity are at their highest.
The system incorporates auto-save mechanisms for in-progress transactions, meaning that
even in the event of a sudden power loss or software crash, no sales data is lost. For cloud-based
