many places could disappear in the future. Some people suggest that stopping the sale of new petrol
and diesel cars can help reduce these problems. Personally, I partly agree with this suggestion.
On one side, petrol and diesel cars produce a lot of pollution, making climate change worse. If we start
using fewer of these cars, we can lower harmful gases and protect the planet. For example, Norway
encourages electric cars, and people there now breathe cleaner air. This shows that switching to electric
vehicles can have positive effects.
However, completely banning these cars immediately might not be practical for everyone. Electric cars
are still expensive, and many places don't have enough charging stations. In my city, electric cars aren't
popular because they cost too much, and charging points are hard to find. Many families can't afford
them yet. If petrol and diesel cars were suddenly banned, people would struggle to get around, and their
daily lives could be disrupted.
In conclusion, stopping the sale of petrol and diesel cars is helpful, but it should happen step by step.
Only with good preparation and additional measures can we really tackle climate change and protect our
environment.
