Excuses for why people should not risk doing extreme sports are easy to CONJURE, like the cord breaking while bungee jumping or the parachute not DEPLOYING when skydiving. However, seeking adventure and CONQUERING one's fear is, for many, worth the risk. Chances are one will walk away UNSCATHED or safe but an unforgettable experience. The thrill-seeker should conduct PRECAUTIONARY research ahead of time, analyzing safety records, surveying the equipment and waivers, asking questions, and seeking an ASSURANCE. If they feel any QUALMS about the sport after this research,they should consider it again and refuse to participate. That being said, if fear of injury or death is their motivator for evading extreme sports, there's probably a multitude of things they regularly do that are statistically much more dangerous.
